East Coast could not stop New Hampshire's Alex Peddle, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-2 win.

East Coast's four penalties came back to haunt it, as East Coast let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

New Hampshire also got points from Mike Heffernan, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Brett Bittner, who also racked up two goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for New Hampshire were Josh Bowman, who had two, Mike Callaghan, who had three, and Simon Campbell, David Fish, and Nick Pino, who each chipped in one.

East Coast was led by Michael Bellmore, who registered two goals. Bellmore scored the first of his two goals at 10:46 into the first period to make the score 2-1 New Hampshire. Bellmore's next tally made the score 4-2 New Hampshire with 18:03 left in the second period. East Coast had gotten the advantage when New Hampshire's Tyler Burton was sent off for interference.
