East Coast tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but Jersey Shore held on for a 4-2 victory. Jersey Shore took a 4-0 lead during the third period, only to have East Coast storm back on a Riley Hennessey goal 18:05 into the third period to pull to two goals down. Jersey Shore forced East Coast goalie Aidan Critchlow to work between the pipes, taking 55 shots. Jersey Shore was helped by Frederic Ampleman, who racked up one goal and one assist. Ampleman scored 11:50 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Jersey Shore. Ilya Spektor provided the assist. Jersey Shore also got points from Alexandre Racicot, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Travis Valvo, who also had one goal and one assist, and William Villeneuve, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Jersey Shore received assists from Alexander Tan and Drew Brown, who contributed one each. Jersey Shore was unable to stop East Coast from sending pucks towards the net, and East Coast eventually piled up 51 shots on goal. Matt Bauchman also scored for East Coast. More assists for East Coast came via Samu Landen, Anton Ridgard, and Tom Potter, who each chipped in one. Marc Schlaeger recorded 49 saves for Jersey Shore. Jersey Shore incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Aidan Critchlow made 51 saves for East Coast on 55 shots. East Coast incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
