New England relied on the sparkling performance of Dalton Doire in net to grab a 4-1 win against Roc City. Brian Glover had a great game for New England, netting two goals. New England stifled Roc City's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Other players who recorded assists for New England were Henrik Nilsson, who had one, Jake Latham, who had two, and Steve Upton, who had three. Roc City was held below its usual level of production. Roc City struggled on the penalty kill, allowing New England to score two power play goals on three chances. Roc City was led by James Lockamyeir, who scored the team's only goal.
