Lockport gutted out a close 5-4 win against Syracuse.

Lockport gained the winning advantage on a goal by Jeff Avolio 10:40 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Others who scored for Lockport included Anthony Merante, Ryan Logar, Austin Kasperek, and Justin Blake, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Lockport were Dillon Hayes, Justin Durkee, Daniel Golba, and Christopher Gasiewicz, who each chipped in one and Alex Bottenfield and Nicholas Siracuse, who contributed two each.

Syracuse was led by Travis Bobb, who registered one goal and two assists. Bobb scored 11:19 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Dan Buehler provided the assist. Syracuse additionally got points from Josh Wallace, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Syracuse also had goals scored by Braeden Pearl and Travis Hyde, who each put in one.
