New Hampshire wins tough contest against Roc City, 4-3

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, New Hampshire escaped with a 4-3 victory over Roc City.

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Brett Bittner at 19:35 of the third period.

Bittner had a great game for New Hampshire, netting two goals.

New Hampshire's offense rang up 34 shots on Roc City's net. New Hampshire was ineffective while on the power play, as it was held to two goals off of 13 man advantages. The defensemen of New Hampshire were also effective in Roc City's zone, and came away with two goals. New Hampshire could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 30 minutes in penalties during the game.

New Hampshire also got a goal from David Fish as well. In addition, New Hampshire received assists from Alex Peddle, who had three and Ryan Dunfield and Josh Crane, who contributed one each.

Roc City kept New Hampshire's goalie busy throughout the game, and Claes Endre made 30 saves on 33 shots. Team could not crack New Hampshire's penalty kill and was held to two power play goals while having nine opportunities to play with the man advantage. Roc City could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game.

Roc City was helped by James Lockamyeir, who had one goal. Lockamyeir scored 4:59 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Roc City. John Wise provided the assist. Roc City also had goals scored by Brian Wade and Anthony DePetres, who each put in one. More assists for Roc City came via John Melcher, who had one.

Justin Nevinger made 30 saves for Roc City on 34 shots.
