Xavier Perron grabbed two points to lead Syracuse Stampede to a 6-3 victory over New England Stars.

In a losing effort, New England Stars was led by Brian Glover, who tallied two goals. Glover scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 18:40 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Syracuse Stampede. New England Stars had gotten the advantage when Syracuse Stampede's Erik Smith was sent off for hooking. Cam Webster picked up the assist. Glover's next tally on the power play made the score 4-3 Syracuse Stampede with 15:49 left in the third period. New England Stars had gained a power play chance when Joey Dupuis was whistled for unsportsmanlike conduct. Ryan Gauvin assisted on the tally.

Syracuse Stampede surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, Syracuse Stampede averages 3.6 goals per contest. Syracuse Stampede took advantage of New England Stars' penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities.

Syracuse Stampede also had goals scored by Braeden Pearl, who had two and Charles Blais Dionne and Raymond Falso, who scored one goal each. In addition, Syracuse Stampede received assists from Jean-Philippe Picard, who had two and Valters Midegs, Derek Berard, and Travis Bobb, who each chipped in one.

Syracuse Stampede was unable to stop New England Stars from sending pucks towards the net, and New England Stars eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. New England Stars got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
