Cape Cod Islanders downs Roc City Royals in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Cape Cod Islanders pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over Roc City Royals on a clutch goal by Isaac Bosse.

Cape Cod Islanders was led by Bosse, who racked up one goal. Bosse scored 40 seconds into overtime to make the score 3-2 Cape Cod Islanders. Colton Hart provided the assist.

In a losing effort, Roc City Royals was led by James Lockamyeir, who had two goals. Lockamyeir scored the first of his two goals at 12:09 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Anthony DePetres picked up the assist. Lockamyeir's next tally made the score 2-2 with 7:09 left in the second period. Reece Tucker assisted on the tally.

Cape Cod Islanders stifled Roc City Royals' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Cape Cod Islanders' offense rang up 34 shots on Roc City Royals' net. The defensemen of Cape Cod Islanders were also effective in Roc City Royals' zone, and came away with two goals. Cape Cod Islanders' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Cape Cod Islanders finished with 44 penalty minutes.
