Huge game by Racicot boosts Jersey Shore Wildcats over Wilkes-Barre Miners, 6-2

Alexandre Racicot was all over the ice for Jersey Shore Wildcats, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Jersey Shore Wildcats' 6-2 win over Wilkes-Barre Miners.

Racicot found the back of the net 13:10 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Jersey Shore Wildcats and again while 9:53 into the third to make the score 6-2 Jersey Shore Wildcats.

Jersey Shore Wildcats' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Wilkes-Barre Miners power plays. Jersey Shore Wildcats kept Wilkes-Barre Miners' goalie busy throughout the game, and Lucas Paulsen made 52 saves on 58 shots.

Jersey Shore Wildcats additionally got points from Tim OConnor, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Martin Zahora, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Jersey Shore Wildcats included Travis Valvo and JaColbie McGowan, who each put in one. More assists for Jersey Shore Wildcats came via Frederic Ampleman, who had two and Jiri Hajda, Konstatin Mamedov, Justin Apgar, and Dylan Jenkins, who each chipped in one.

Wilkes-Barre Miners stifled Jersey Shore Wildcats' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Jersey Shore Wildcats was unable to stop Wilkes-Barre Miners from sending pucks towards the net, and Wilkes-Barre Miners eventually piled up 49 shots on goal. Wilkes-Barre Miners could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Wilkes-Barre Miners was helped by Michael Tugo, who racked up one goal. Tugo scored short handed 16:52 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Jersey Shore Wildcats. Wilkes-Barre Miners was on a disadvantage when Jonathan Wisten went off the ice for cross checking. Wilkes-Barre Miners also got a goal from Arturs Bush as well.
