New Hampshire Fighting Spirit downs Wilkes-Barre Miners in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

New Hampshire Fighting Spirit's Frederic Pugin scored 4:32 into overtime to beat Wilkes-Barre Miners, 4-3 (OT).

Pugin had two goals to lead New Hampshire Fighting Spirit to victory.

New Hampshire Fighting Spirit kept Wilkes-Barre Miners' goalie busy throughout the game, and Lucas Paulsen made 29 saves on 33 shots.

New Hampshire Fighting Spirit also had goals scored by Travis Blinkhorn and Brett Bittner, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for New Hampshire Fighting Spirit were Alex Peddle, Josh Bowman, Andrew Gass, and Mike Callaghan, who contributed one each.

Wilkes-Barre Miners' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five New Hampshire Fighting Spirit power plays.

Wilkes-Barre Miners was led by Arturs Bush, who tallied two goals. Bush scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 12:53 into the first period to make the score 2-1 New Hampshire Fighting Spirit. Wilkes-Barre Miners had gained a power play chance when Josh Crane was whistled for facemask. Zoltan Eross assisted on the tally. Bush's next tally on the power play made the score 3-3 with 6:22 left in the second period. Derek Bureau picked up the assist. Michael Tugo also scored for Wilkes-Barre Miners. More assists for Wilkes-Barre Miners came via Johannes Leitner, who had one.
