Wilkes-Barre Miners rips Syracuse Stampede, 5-1

Wilkes-Barre Miners had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Syracuse Stampede.

Wilkes-Barre Miners was led by goalie Zak Bouve, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Bouve certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.8 entering the contest.
