Syracuse Stampede took a 5-2 lead during the third period, only to have Wilkes-Barre Miners storm back on a Austin Bandura goal 19:53 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Syracuse Stampede forced Wilkes-Barre Miners' goaltenders to work without much rest, totaling 34 shots and forcing 29 saves. Lucas Paulsen made 20 stops and Zak Bouve made nine. Syracuse Stampede's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.
