Syracuse Stampede's Perron deadly on offense in 8-3 win against Roc City Royals

Syracuse Stampede relied on the scoring touch of Xavier Perron, who netted two goals, to beat Roc City Royals, 8-3.

Perron scored at 3:28 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Syracuse Stampede and again while 18:08 into the third to make the score 7-3 Syracuse Stampede.

Syracuse Stampede pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

Syracuse Stampede's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Roc City Royals power plays. Syracuse Stampede's offense rang up 37 shots on Roc City Royals' net. Syracuse Stampede outdid its season average for goals scored. Syracuse Stampede averages 3.2 goals per game.

Syracuse Stampede additionally got points from Joey Dupuis, who also registered one goal and one assist and Erik Smith, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Syracuse Stampede included J.C. Lachapelle, who had two and Charles Blais Dionne and Travis Hyde, who each put in one. In addition, Syracuse Stampede received assists from Josh Wallace, who had one.

Roc City Royals stifled Syracuse Stampede's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Roc City Royals forced Syracuse Stampede goalie Ludvig Kullen Dansarie to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

Roc City Royals was helped by James Lockamyeir, who tallied one goal. Lockamyeir scored 2:40 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Roc City Royals. Roc City Royals also got points from Connor Guay, who also had one goal and one assist. Roc City Royals also got a goal from Bryan Smith as well.
