Colorado State University takes care of Colorado University of early, wins 7-1

A five-goal first period deficit cost Colorado University of, which could not recover and fell to the Colorado State University Rams, 7-1.

Colorado University of's power play was ineffective against Colorado State University's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.
