Long leads Detroit Fighting Irish over Decatur Blaze, 4-1

Eric Long had two goals and two assists to lead Detroit Fighting Irish to a 4-1 victory over Decatur Blaze.

Long scored at 17:16 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Detroit Fighting Irish and again while 19:09 into the third to make the score 4-1 Detroit Fighting Irish.

Detroit Fighting Irish was led by goalie George Hill, who finished with 25 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Hill will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.58.

Detroit Fighting Irish excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.
