Traverse City Hounds beats Detroit Fighting Irish 3-1 after comeback scare

Traverse City Hounds survived a determined comeback attempt by Detroit Fighting Irish on the way to a 3-1 win.

A goal by Cam Givens put Traverse City Hounds up 3-0 in the third period, but Detroit Fighting Irish pulled to within two on Ken Winter's tally 13:10 into the third period.

Detroit Fighting Irish was stymied by Traverse City Hounds' netminder Justin Abdelhak, who stopped 34 shots during the victory. Abdelhak managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.04 prior to the game.
