Motor City Monarchs survived a determined comeback attempt by Michigan Ice Dogs on the way to a 4-3 win. Motor City Monarchs took a 4-2 lead during the third period, only to have Michigan Ice Dogs storm back on a Joseph Russo goal 5:12 into the third period to pull to one goal down.
