Alpena Flyers wins tough contest against Michigan Ice Dogs, 4-2

The game between Alpena Flyers and Michigan Ice Dogs was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Alpena Flyers emerged with a 4-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Jared Kwiatkowski secured the win for Alpena Flyers with a goal in the third period.

Alpena Flyers was led by Kwiatkowski, who finished with one goal. Kwiatkowski scored on the power play 10:05 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Alpena Flyers. Alpena Flyers had gotten the advantage when Michigan Ice Dogs' Hunter Oatman was sent off for hooking. Brett Farley picked up the assist.

Alpena Flyers' offense rang up 45 shots on Michigan Ice Dogs' net. Alpena Flyers found itself short handed often, totaling 24 penalty minutes and allowing five power plays.
