Hunter Myers recorded a shutout against Soo Firehawks as Alpena Flyers picked up a 9-0 win. Alpena Flyers got the win with help from a great game by Brandon Bihn, who had two goals and two assists. Bihn scored the first of his two goals at 12:46 into the second period to make the score 5-0 Alpena Flyers. Shane Dawson provided the assist. Bihn's next tally made the score 7-0 Alpena Flyers with 3:30 left in the second period. Sam Charboneau picked up the assist.
