Behind a great game by Greg Meuser, who had two goals and three assists, Traverse City Hounds defeated Alpena Flyers, 12-2. Meuser found the back of the net 5:12 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Traverse City Hounds and again while 5:38 into the second to make the score 5-2 Traverse City Hounds.Traverse City Hounds forced Alpena Flyers' goalies to work without much rest, getting 44 shots and forcing 32 saves. Connor Kassuba made 16 stops and Hunter Myers made 16. Traverse City Hounds bested its season scoring average. Traverse City Hounds averages 5.9 goals per game. Traverse City Hounds also got points from Austin Flores, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Stan Swiderek, who also registered one goal and two assists, Jan Voves, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, and Cam Fisher, who also had one goal and two assists. Traverse City Hounds also had goals scored by Kyle Winkelman, who had two and Travis Kirk, Patrick Rogowski, and Blake Anderson, who each put in one.
