Michigan Ice Dogs rallied from two goals down to secure a 4-3 win over Soo Firehawks.

Michigan Ice Dogs let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Michigan Ice Dogs took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Brent Young at 6:15 in the first period. Michigan Ice Dogs found itself down 3-1 after Soo Firehawks' Zach Eitrem put the puck home at 15:46 in the first period. After knotting things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Joseph Russo at 1:52 in the second, Michigan Ice Dogs got the game-winner from Spencer Godin at 3:08 in the third period.

Godin was all over the ice for Michigan Ice Dogs, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win.

Soo Firehawks was unable to stop Michigan Ice Dogs from sending pucks towards the net, and Michigan Ice Dogs eventually piled up 43 shots on goal. Michigan Ice Dogs was hit hard by penalties in the contest, and totaled six minors and two majors for 22 minutes in penalty time. Michigan Ice Dogs' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Michigan Ice Dogs also got points from Young, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Russo, who also registered one goal and one assist. Todd Grzembski also scored for Michigan Ice Dogs.
