Cam Fisher netted a hat trick to lead Traverse City Hounds over Soo Firehawks, 7-2.

Fisher notched his first tally 9:32 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:15 into the third and at 12:44 into the third.

Soo Firehawks' power play was ineffective against Traverse City Hounds' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Traverse City Hounds kept Soo Firehawks' goalie busy throughout the game, and Nicolas Berlingieri made 35 saves on 42 shots. Traverse City Hounds capitalized on Soo Firehawks' penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage. Traverse City Hounds' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Traverse City Hounds finished with 50 penalty minutes.
