Berkley Bruins survived a determined comeback attempt by Alpena Flyers on the way to a 4-3 win. Berkley Bruins took a 4-2 lead during the third period, only to have Alpena Flyers storm back on a Jared Kwiatkowski goal 16:04 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Timothy Muhsman had one goal and two assists to lead Berkley Bruins. Muhsman scored on the power play 1:38 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Berkley Bruins. Alex Anderson picked up the assist. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Berkley Bruins also got points from Cristian Purdom, who also had one goal and one assist and Anderson, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Berkley Bruins also got a goal from Ryker Kain as well. More assists for Berkley Bruins came via Jack Grebe and Richard Gardner, who each chipped in one.
