Detroit Fighting Irish went down 4-1 after Alpena Flyers' Jared Kwiatkowski put the puck home at 4:13 in the second period. After evening things up at 5-5 on a short handed goal by Winter at 6:04 in the third, Detroit Fighting Irish got the game-winner from Chuck Hicks at 15:25 in the third period.
