Alpena Flyers tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Berkley Bruins held on for a 6-5 victory.

A goal by Julian Willibey put Berkley Bruins up 6-4 in the third period, but Alpena Flyers pulled to within one on Tait Froggett's tally 14:17 into the third period.

Berkley Bruins got the win on the strength of a great game by Timothy Wilson, who had two goals and one assist. Wilson scored the first of his two goals at 14:24 into the first period to make the score 3-2 Alpena Flyers. Tory Shand assisted on the tally.
