Cara Harm's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 6:40 in the third period. Adrian College earned a power play opportunity when Mercedes Reyes was put in the box for tripping. Amanda Antos provided the assist.

The Bulldog were led by Harm, who had one goal.

Adrian College excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Bulldog's offense were handcuffed by Michigan University of's defensive play, and Adrian College managed only 14 shots on goal during the game.
