Colorado Rampage (MM) vanquishes Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) in shootout, 4-3 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Colorado Rampage (MM) defeated Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) in a shootout 4-3 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured six attempts between both teams. Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) got a shootout goal from Coale Norris. In addition to the clincher, Colorado Rampage (MM) got a shootout goal from Nicholas Halloran.

Colorado Rampage (MM) came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Colorado Rampage (MM) trailed 2-0 after a goal by Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM)'s Norris at 17:39 in the second period. Colorado Rampage (MM) knotted things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Austin Grzenia at 16:35 in the third period.

Colorado Rampage (MM) was helped by Matthew Pulver, who grabbed two goals. Pulver scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 3:02 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Halloran provided the assist. Pulver's next tally on the power play made the score 3-2 Colorado Rampage (MM) with 14:11 left in the third period. Michael Watson picked up the assist. Colorado Rampage (MM) additionally got points from Jack ONeil, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Colorado Rampage (MM) received assists from Hadan Jordan, who had one.

Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) also got points from Grzenia, who also had one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) were Matthew Acciaioli, who had two and Dalton Messina and Danny DiGrande, who contributed one each.

Alexander Belitckii rejected 22 shots on goal for Colorado Rampage (MM). Colorado Rampage (MM) incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jack Leavy recorded 24 saves for Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM). Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
