Colorado State University downs Michigan University of, 5-2

Kelsey Mason tallied one point to lead the Colorado State University Rams to a 5-2 victory over the Michigan University of Wolverines.

Colorado State University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Colorado State University additionally got points from Kelly French, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Molly Oneil also scored for Colorado State University. More assists for Colorado State University came via Nelligan Brown and Kailey Schiesl, who contributed one each.

Michigan University of forced the Rams goalie Meghan Nelson to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. The Wolverines gave up more goals than its normal season average. Michigan University of gives up 2.1 goals per game.
