Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) beats Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) 4-2 after comeback scare

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) held on for a 4-2 victory.

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) took a 4-1 lead during the third period, only to have Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) storm back on a William Casey goal 8:27 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Jay Furst had a great game for Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM), netting two goals. Furst scored at 11:59 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) and again while 15:04 into the first to make the score 3-0 Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM).

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) kept Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and Thomas Brown made 30 saves on 34 shots.

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) also got points from Jake Gerbner, who also had one goal and one assist. Andrew Hart also scored for Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM). In addition, Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) received assists from Tiernan Seningen, who had one and Joe Abel, who had two.

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (MM) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.
