Denver University of rolls over Midland University, 6-0

The Denver University of Pioneers had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-0 win over the Midland University Warriors.

Denver University of was led by Emily Usset, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Usset scored 11:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Denver University of. Emily Clark assisted on the tally.

The Pioneers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Midland University power plays. Midland University was unable to stop Denver University of from sending pucks towards the net, and the Pioneers eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Denver University of surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Pioneers average 1.6 goal per game. Denver University of got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed four goals during the game.
