Jonathan Giordano grabbed two points to lead the Appleby College Blue Dogs to a 2-1 victory over the Ridley College Tigers.

Appleby College excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Tommy Hoogaars also scored for Appleby College. More assists for Appleby College came via Evan Patterson, Adam Scholz, and Ryan McGregor, who each chipped in one.

Ridley College stifled the Blue Dogs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Tigers were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 20 penalty minutes.

Ridley College was led by Christian Girhiny, who scored the team's only goal. Girhiny scored 16:20 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Noah Tooke picked up the assist.

Appleby College's Avery Gobbo stopped 24 shots out of the 25 that he faced. The Blue Dogs incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Cam Gray made 22 saves for the Tigers on 24 shots.
