Christian Girhiny netted a hat trick to lead Ridley College over Upper Canada College, 5-2.

Upper Canada College's power play was ineffective against Ridley College's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Ridley College stifled Upper Canada College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Ridley College struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 18 penalty minutes for six opposing power plays. Ridley College's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Ridley College also got points from Cole Cameron, who also registered one goal and one assist. Ridley College also got a goal from Noah Tooke as well. In addition, Ridley College received assists from Will Lochead, who had one and Brendan Lochead and Connor Hill, who each chipped in two.
