Appleby College found itself down againt Upper Canada College, but battled back to secure to a 1-1 tie.

The Blues put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Blue Dogs to score on any of their five power plays.

Upper Canada College was led by Jake Muchnik, who scored the team's only goal. Muchnik scored 5:52 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Upper Canada College. Mark Bastow picked up the assist.

Appleby College excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

The Blue Dogs were led by Jonathan Giordano, who scored the team's only goal. Giordano scored 11:38 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Andrew Tarasca provided the assist.

Jack Pendrith made 16 saves for the Blues on 17 shots. Upper Canada College incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Appleby College's Avery Gobbo stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Blue Dogs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
