The Rhode Island University of Rams and the Vermont University of Catamounts skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

Rhode Island University of and Vermont University of could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie.

The Rams managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Rhode Island University of wound up below its season average of 5.0 penalty minutes per game. The Catamounts were unable to stop the Rams from sending pucks towards the net, and Rhode Island University of eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

The Rams were helped by Bethany Saunders, who finished with one goal. Saunders scored 8:17 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Rhode Island University of.
