Massachusetts University of downs Penn State University in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Amy Morin gave the Massachusetts University of Minutemen a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Penn State University Nitty Lions when he scored 4:41 into the extra period.

Massachusetts University of was led by Morin, who registered one goal.

In a losing effort, Penn State University was sparked by Claire Gauthier, who tallied two goals. Gauthier scored the first of his two goals at 14:01 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Devon Fisk assisted on the tally. Gauthier's next tally made the score 3-3 with 7:38 left in the third period. Kimberly Badorrek picked up the assist.

The Minutemen managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Nitty Lions were unable to stop the Minutemen from sending pucks towards the net, and Massachusetts University of eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. The Minutemen got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
