Wisconsin University of uses big second period to beat Midland University, 7-2

The Wisconsin University of Badgers used a four-goal second period to put away the Midland University Warriors, 7-2.

Gabrielle Laures was all over the ice for Wisconsin University of, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Laures scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 8:07 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Wisconsin University of. The Badgers had gotten the advantage when Midland University's Virginia Cooke was sent off for tripping. Jess Smith picked up the assist. Laures' next tally on the power play made the score 7-2 Wisconsin University of with 17:38 left in the third period.
