Grand Valley State University found itself down againt Adrian College, but battled back to secure to a 2-2 (OT) tie.

The Bulldog excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Adrian College kept the Lakers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Lauren Allen made 40 saves on 42 shots.

The Bulldog were helped by Rebecca Napoli, who grabbed one goal. Napoli scored 1:53 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Adrian College. Morgan Poole picked up the assist. Adrian College also got a goal from Summer Frey as well. Other players who recorded assists for Adrian College were Lauren Hughes, who had one.

Grand Valley State University stifled Adrian College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Lakers forced the Bulldog goalie Emily Michelin to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Grand Valley State University was helped by Kendra Myers, who finished with one goal. Myers scored 12:50 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Karyn Schmaltz also scored for Grand Valley State University.

Emily Michelin made 30 saves for Adrian College on 32 shots. The Bulldog incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Lakers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
