LEASIDE found itself down againt WHITBY, but battled back to secure to a 2-2 (OT) tie.

LEASIDE managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. LEASIDE ended up below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game. LEASIDE forced WHITBY goalie Rachel McQuigge to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

LEASIDE was led by Jessica Robichaud (A), who tallied two goals. Robichaud (A) scored the first of her two goals at 9:02 into the third period to make the score 2-1 WHITBY. Katriona McNeilly picked up the assist. Robichaud (A)'s next tally made the score 2-2 with four seconds left in the third period. Gabriella Lamanna(C) assisted on the tally.

WHITBY's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three LEASIDE power plays.

WHITBY was helped by Emily Volpe, who finished with one goal. Volpe scored 5:49 into the second period to make the score 1-0 WHITBY. Hailey Wilson picked up the assist. Caitlyn Quartarone also scored for WHITBY. More assists for WHITBY came via Katie Mikkelsen(PU), who had one.

LEASIDE's Carmen Lasis stopped 25 shots out of the 27 that she faced. Rachel McQuigge made 32 saves for WHITBY on 34 shots. WHITBY incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities.
