Jessie Eldridge lifted TORONTO to a 6-2 victory with a hat trick against WATERLOO. Eldridge's first goal came 1:15 into the second period. He then added goals at 3:24 into the second and at 8:17 into the third.TORONTO cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring two goals on three chances. TORONTO also got points from Daryl Watts, who also tallied one goal and three assists and Taylor Baker, who also registered one goal and one assist. Mikyla Grant Mentis also scored for TORONTO. Other players who recorded assists for TORONTO were Laura Ball, who had one and Celine Frappier and Cristine Chao, who contributed two each. WATERLOO's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. WATERLOO is averaging 2.3 goals against for the season. WATERLOO was led by Megan Johnston, who finished with one goal and one assist. Johnston scored 3:01 into the third period to make the score 4-2 TORONTO. Morgan Bates assisted on the tally. WATERLOO also got a goal from Claire Renouf as well. In addition, WATERLOO received assists from Carly AuCoin and Becky Higgs, who each chipped in one.
