BURLINGTON rides OBrien to victory over CAMBRIDGE, 2-1

Kyra OBrien had a standout game with 27 saves, and BURLINGTON beat CAMBRIDGE 2-1.

BURLINGTON was led by Rachel Armstrong, who grabbed one goal. Armstrong scored 14:30 into the second period to make the score 2-1 BURLINGTON. Jessica Desautels picked up the assist.

BURLINGTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

BURLINGTON also got a goal from Trisha Cho as well. Other players who recorded assists for BURLINGTON were Claire Anderson and Logan Land, who each chipped in one.

CAMBRIDGE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three BURLINGTON power plays.

CAMBRIDGE was led by Miranda Lantz (A), who scored the team's only goal. Lantz (A) scored 12:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CAMBRIDGE. Shannon Pearson provided the assist.

BURLINGTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lauren Webber rejected 16 shots on goal for CAMBRIDGE. CAMBRIDGE incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
