Pearson's goals lift CAMBRIDGE to 4-0 victory over AURORA

CAMBRIDGE relied on the scoring touch of Shannon Pearson, who netted two goals, to beat AURORA, 4-0.

Pearson's tallies came at 3:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CAMBRIDGE and 12:38 into the first to make the score 3-0 CAMBRIDGE.

CAMBRIDGE stifled AURORA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

CAMBRIDGE also had goals scored by Rachel Holden and Brooklyn Davis, who scored one goal each. More assists for CAMBRIDGE came via Morgan Rolph, who had two, Miranda Lantz (A), who had three, and Nicole Zabel, Rebecca Haddaway (A), and Rachael Irvine, who contributed one each.

Julia Vandyk made 15 saves for CAMBRIDGE on 15 shots. CAMBRIDGE incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. AURORA's Taylor Lemmon stopped 20 shots out of the 24 that she faced. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
