TORONTO rips BRAMPTON, 6-0

TORONTO had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-0 win over BRAMPTON.

TORONTO was paced by Claire Thompson, who registered one goal. Thompson scored 5:32 into the first period to make the score 1-0 TORONTO. Mikyla Grant Mentis provided the assist.

TORONTO excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

TORONTO also got points from Haley Shugart, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Daryl Watts, who also had one goal and one assist, and Jessie Eldridge, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Emma Low-A-Chee also scored for TORONTO. Other players who recorded assists for TORONTO were Tori Haywood, who had two and Sabrina Repaci, Connor Galway, Kaitlin Tse, and Cara Clarke, who each chipped in one.

BRAMPTON's penalty kill unit could not stop TORONTO's power play, which converted on two of three opportunities.

Lindsay Wray rejected 17 shots on goal for TORONTO. TORONTO incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Kaitlyn Simpson recorded 22 saves for BRAMPTON. BRAMPTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
