DURHAM WEST's Manoukarakis deadly on offense in 8-0 win against KINGSTON

Katrina Manoukarakis had four goals to lead DURHAM WEST to an 8-0 victory over KINGSTON.

Manoukarakis notched her first tally 7:54 into the third period. He then added goals at 11:11 into the third, at 13:41 into the third, and at 17:40 into the third.

KINGSTON was unable to stop DURHAM WEST from sending pucks towards the net, and DURHAM WEST eventually piled up 76 shots on goal. DURHAM WEST surpassed its usual scoring output this season. DURHAM WEST has scored at the pace of 2.5 goals per game during the current campaign. The defensemen of DURHAM WEST were also effective in KINGSTON's zone, and came away with two goals.

DURHAM WEST additionally got points from Samantha McKenzie (C), who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for DURHAM WEST included Emily Jukosky, Alexandra Maw, and Saroya Tinker, who scored one goal each. In addition, DURHAM WEST received assists from Leah Michel (PU), Alyssa Gee (A), Maria Dominico, Natalie Wozney, Taylor McManus, and Kirsten MacDougall, who each chipped in one.

DURHAM WEST's defense shut down KINGSTON's forwards for much of the game, and KINGSTON got off only 11 shots during the contest. KINGSTON could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game.
