Behind a great game by Caitlyn Sadowy (A), who had two goals, MISSISSAUGA defeated CAMBRIDGE, 2-1. Sadowy (A) scored at 7:54 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 11:05 into the third to make the score 2-1 MISSISSAUGA.MISSISSAUGA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three CAMBRIDGE power plays. In addition, MISSISSAUGA received assists from Ashlee Lawrence, Nadine Edney (A), Shana Walker, and Kyra Colbert, who contributed one each. CAMBRIDGE stifled MISSISSAUGA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. CAMBRIDGE was led by Morgan Rolph, who scored the team's only goal. Rolph scored 14:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CAMBRIDGE. Rachael Irvine assisted on the tally. MISSISSAUGA's Elijah Milne-Price stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that she faced. MISSISSAUGA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lauren Webber made 20 saves for CAMBRIDGE on 22 shots. CAMBRIDGE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
