STONEY CREEK found itself down againt DURHAM WEST, but battled back to secure to a 2-2 (OT) tie. STONEY CREEK was led by Laura Crowdis (A), who registered two goals. Crowdis (A) scored the first of her two goals at 4:18 into the third period to make the score 2-1 DURHAM WEST. Jessica Brown provided the assist. Crowdis (A)'s next tally made the score 2-2 with 7:59 left in the third period. Kristin ONeill (A) picked up the assist. In addition, STONEY CREEK received assists from Nicole Collier, who had one. DURHAM WEST put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow STONEY CREEK to score on any of its five power plays. DURHAM WEST was helped by Maria Dominico, who finished with one goal. Dominico scored 14:26 into the first period to make the score 1-0 DURHAM WEST. Katrina Manoukarakis assisted on the tally. DURHAM WEST also got a goal from Alexandra Maw as well. Other players who recorded assists for DURHAM WEST were Alyssa Gee (A), Charlea Pedersen, and Taylor McManus, who each chipped in one. Sarah McDonnell made 20 saves for STONEY CREEK on 22 shots. STONEY CREEK incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Tera Hofmann recorded 26 saves for DURHAM WEST. DURHAM WEST incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
