Charlea Pedersen scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and DURHAM WEST held off the challenges of MISSISSAUGA in a tough 2-0 win.

DURHAM WEST took over the lead for good with a goal by Pedersen at 3:01 in the first period. Kirsten MacDougall assisted on the tally.
