KINGSTON found itself down againt CAMBRIDGE, but battled back to secure to a 1-1 (OT) tie. KINGSTON put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow CAMBRIDGE to score on any of its five power plays. KINGSTON was led by Brianna Gaffney (A), who scored the team's only goal. Gaffney (A) scored 5:47 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Natalie Graham (A) picked up the assist. CAMBRIDGE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven KINGSTON power plays. CAMBRIDGE's offense rang up 54 shots on KINGSTON's net. CAMBRIDGE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. CAMBRIDGE was led by Shannon Pearson, who scored the team's only goal. Pearson scored 13:19 into the second period to make the score 1-0 CAMBRIDGE. Rachel Holden assisted on the tally. Brooke Madigan rejected 53 shots on goal for KINGSTON. KINGSTON incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Julia Vandyk made 19 saves for CAMBRIDGE on 20 shots.
