ETOBICOKE rides Honor to victory over AURORA, 4-1

A stellar performance between the pipes by Christie Honor helped ETOBICOKE defeat AURORA, 4-1.

ETOBICOKE was led by Tegan Duncan, who finished with one goal. Duncan scored 6:04 into the second period to make the score 2-0 ETOBICOKE. Sam Fariello picked up the assist.

ETOBICOKE put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow AURORA to score on any of its four power plays. AURORA was unable to stop ETOBICOKE from sending pucks towards the net, and ETOBICOKE eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.

ETOBICOKE additionally got points from Tory Harshman, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Madison MacCulloch, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, and Alison Hanson (C), who also registered one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for ETOBICOKE were Emilia Cotter (A), who had one.

AURORA was led by Becca Chilvers, who scored the team's only goal. Chilvers scored 12:52 into the third period to make the score 3-1 ETOBICOKE. Tara Morning (A) assisted on the tally.

Christie Honor made 27 saves for ETOBICOKE on 28 shots. ETOBICOKE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. AURORA's Melissa Black stopped 40 shots out of the 43 that she faced. AURORA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
