Miranda Lantz (A) was all over the ice for CAMBRIDGE, as she tallied two goals and two assists in CAMBRIDGE's 7-0 win over BRAMPTON.

Lantz (A) found the back of the net 3:37 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CAMBRIDGE and again while 5:43 into the first to make the score 2-0 CAMBRIDGE.

Julia Vandyk spearheaded the defensive effort for CAMBRIDGE, as she did not allow a puck past him and made 33 saves for the shutout. Vandyk certainly lowered her goals against average, which was 1.55 entering the contest.

CAMBRIDGE's offense rang up 48 shots on BRAMPTON's net. CAMBRIDGE outdid its season average for goals scored. CAMBRIDGE averages 1.6 goal per game.

Natasha Costello also scored for CAMBRIDGE. In addition, CAMBRIDGE received assists from Aylssa Chiarello (A), who had three, Shannon Pearson, Brooklyn Davis, Rachael Irvine, and Emilly Woodhouse, who each chipped in one, and Maggie Kolcon and Rebecca Haddaway (A), who contributed two each.

BRAMPTON forced CAMBRIDGE goalie Vandyk to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. BRAMPTON could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

CAMBRIDGE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Kaitlyn Simpson recorded 41 saves for BRAMPTON. BRAMPTON registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
