DURHAM WEST wins tough contest against LONDON, 4-2

DURHAM WEST and LONDON were evenly matched throughout their contest, but DURHAM WEST made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Alyssa Gee (A) secured the win for DURHAM WEST with a goal in the third period.

Emily Jukosky had two goals to lead DURHAM WEST to victory. Jukosky's tallies came at 10:44 into the third period to make the score 2-2 and 19:34 into the third to make the score 4-2 DURHAM WEST.

DURHAM WEST also got a goal from Saroya Tinker as well. In addition, DURHAM WEST received assists from Claire Balas, Alexandra Maw, Charlea Pedersen, and Taylor McManus, who contributed one each.

LONDON was helped by Stacey Henshaw, who registered one goal. Henshaw scored 6:02 into the second period to make the score 2-1 LONDON. Lexie Adzija provided the assist. Natalie Warecki (PU) also scored for LONDON. Other players who recorded assists for LONDON were Kaylie Dennis (C), who had one and Ella Shelton (C), who had two.

Tera Hofmann made 19 saves for DURHAM WEST on 21 shots. DURHAM WEST incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Molly Jenkins rejected 21 shots on goal for LONDON. LONDON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
