Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) outlasts Victory Honda (MM), 4-3

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) escaped with a 4-3 victory over Victory Honda (MM).

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Walker Sommer at 17:29 of the third period.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 24 penalty minutes.

In the losing effort, Victory Honda (MM) was led by Chaz Thomas, who racked up two goals. Thomas scored the first of his two goals at 13:28 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Victory Honda (MM). Jon Russell provided the assist. Thomas' next tally made the score 3-2 Victory Honda (MM) with 5:00 left in the second period. Jacob Gammicchia picked up the assist.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Ohio Blue Jackets (MM)'s offense rang up 32 shots on Victory Honda (MM)'s net.
